    As suncare experts we create products with advanced suncare technology, providing secure protection. Our products have a 4-level enhanced protection system (UVB+UVA+VL*+IRA*) for brad targeting at the largest spectrum of all sun rays, responsible for premature aging and other skin damages.

    Our eco sun line has been developed based on Eco-balance UV filters technology, achieving environmental ranking, tested under 8 scientific sustainability criteria, respecting marine,terrestrial and human life.

    The composition takes care of the ocean ecosystem, does not contain UV filters octinoxate, oxybenzone and octocrylene.

      The disintegration of materials by microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, or other biological means.

    • ACUTE AQUATIC TOXICITY

      The intrinsic property of a substance to cause damage to an aquatic organism due to short-term exposure. The present study evaluates the acute aquatic toxicity of the tested substance towards two freshwater microalgae (Raphidocelis subcapitata and Chlorella vulgaris), a microcrustacean (Daphnia magna), and a fish (Oryzias latipes) based on OECD test guidelines.

      The intrinsic property of a substance to cause damage to an aquatic organism due to long-term exposure. 

    • BIOACUCUMULATION

      The accumulation of substances in an organism due to absorption at a rate faster than that at which the substance is lost by catabolism and excretion

    • TERRESTRIAL TOXICITY

      The effects of a substance on terrestrial flora and fauna (terrestrial organisms and terrestrial plants). Species often used in this testing include earthworms, soil micro-organisms, plants and bees. 

    • SEDIMENT TOXICITY

      The damage caused by a substance on sediment-dwelling organisms. Water and sediment toxicity tests with algae, invertebrates and fish are regularly conducted in the laboratory under strictly controlled conditions using standard protocols.

      Indications that a substance may disrupt hormone system of organisms.

    • LOW POG

      The logarithm of the partitioning coefficient between a defined octanol-water mixture. Solvent toxicity correlates inversely with this value. (logPow is part of the bioaccumulation assessment)

  • Why Should I choose ecosun products for my skin ?

    Eco Protection products are designed based on the principles of sustainable development, ie contain ingredients safe for the skin and the environment and responsible packaging, environmentally friendly. 
    The new series respects marine, terrestrial and human life as being free of UV filters Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, Octocrylene and Homosalate. The products contain ingredients that minimize allergic reactions, they are dermatologically tested,  safe and very well tolerated by the skin. 
    In addition, we use responsible packaging, from recycled and recyclable materials.

  • WHAT IS ECOSUN℗ PASS APPROVED?

    Eco Sun Pass is a  methodology that supports the transparent, holistic assessment of UV filters based on internationally recognized criteria and provides a comprehensive environmental evaluation of the entire filter system within a sunscreen product. It is the first scientifically sound and transparent system of its kind. The EcoSun Pass value is based on eight different parameters, i.e. acute and chronic aquatic toxicity, bioaccumulation and biodegradation. 
    In short, EcoSun Pass resolves the dilemma of the need for effective sun-care, on the one hand, and optimized environmental protection, on the other. The tool evaluates, provides answers and paves the way for sunscreen products that are good for people AND nature. 

  • What is ecosun consious packaging?

    Every year 8 million tons of plastic enter our seas. 
    To protect our planet and contribute to the movement of reducing plastic in the seas and coasts we adopt a holistic Eco mindset by choosing to use responsible packaging made from recycled plastic that can be recycled again after use. 
    In addition, whereas we use paper we make sure that it is FSC certified. This means that the whole process, from the paper tree to the printed box, is as environmentally friendly as possible. More specifically, the paper comes from sustainable management forests, the printing inks are water based while all production and transportation processes are as environmentally friendly as possible, considering the energy and water consumption they require.
